1a. This lesson plan presents a blended Reading and P.E. task. The students listen to a story and the go on their Bear Hut that mirrors the events of the story through physical activities that mimic events in the story such as going through the grass, walking over water, sliding down the mountain, and hiding from the bear. It effectively engages students in the story and the individual activities because they get to act out their part as characters in the story.
