World Drumming Project Reflection

The world drumming project was one of my favorite projects we have done yet. I really enjoyed getting to experience another cultures music hands on. I can now understand how drumming brings cultures together as one community and helps to unite them as one. World drumming can be considered as another form of communication, in this project we were able to pick a theme and communicate to one another through the number of syllables that our word had, and we would then play it through our instruments. Using the different instruments helped us to come together with different sounds but in a way that flowed together.
