To whom it may concern: It is my pleasure to have your child in my class. My goal is to incorporate developmentally appropriate practices that will help promote developmental growth overall. However, Im reaching out today to schedule a meeting to develop a plan to help with some behavioral challenges that has been occurring in the classroom. Tantrums, or emotional reactions that are out of proportion to a situation, appear to be common in early childhood. Tantrums represent a temporary emotional crisis for young children.
