Wk 1 Discussion 2 Family Issues and Addictive Disorders I feel that the important feature that I identify in my own family is rules/communication. Within my family structure this is the main negative and dysfunctional thought that I can connect to, and I think that outsiders would also notice. My father was the head of the household and my mother did not work she stayed at home with us. My father use to be an alcoholic when I was growing up, and my mother does not drink at all.
