                                               The Safe Drinking Water Act

Protecting drinking water and the sources it utilizes is the top priority issues of the Sate Drinking Water Act (SDWA enforces. This Act was originally passed by Congress in 1974 during the presidency of Richard Nixon. I was emended in 1986 and 1996 and required several actions to protect drinking water and to protect the health of the public by regulating the countrys drinking water supply.
