Week 1 Assignment PSY 326: Research Methods

The topic I would like to research is how crime and Dissociative Identity Disorder (or multiple personalities disorder) are related. Many people have seen the movies Split and Identity showing Males with many different personalities committing crimes and being tried for them. Is this right? Do individuals with seemingly unnoticed psychological condition be tried responsible for their actions? How often does this happen? First thing you would have to explain is the basics about DID. Second explore how often a person who has multiple personalities commits crimes. How often the person truly had been diagnosed with DID.
