The purpose of this paper is to understand enterprise technology and how it, when used properly, can help manage the value chain of a company. Enterprise technology is a term used to describe systems, processes and applications that are used to run a company. The main focus of enterprise technology is on the IT part, but there is a much broader spectrum that is rarely thought of.
