The Scarlet Letter Name Affiliation

Introduction: The Scarlet Letter is a fiction story written in 1850 by Nathaniel Hawthorne. It follows the historical settings, and considered as one of his best work. I count it for historical settings because it is set in 17th Century Puritan Boston, Massachusetts. It is the tale of a lady named as Hester Prynne, who commits adultery and gives birth to her daughter named as Pearl. Later she struggles for getting her reputation back and aims a dignified life. She remains in the boundaries of legalism, immorality and remorse. Story Ending: Towards the end of the story, Dimmesdale declares one of his best sermons.
