The stock market crash of 1929, a day also known as Black Thursday, was the day the stock market plunged and lost 10 billion. The stock market then plummeted again the following Tuesday, Black Tuesday. This made the prices of stocks hit an all time low, which made people scared to put their money back into the market, so they didnt.
