The teacher in video 684, was able to implement rules/procedures to create a classroom environment that maximized student learning by having a classroom discussion about classroom rules on how to be a good listener. In the video, the teacher has an anchor chart with a list of good listening skills, she is also calling on students who raise their hand to give examples of how to be a good listener. Some of the rules that were talked about were: good listeners dont talk while others are talking, keep their eyes on the speaker, and think about what others are saying are a few examples from the video.
