1. In video #42, the teacher had the students sitting in groups of four and they were set up, so each student could use their teammate as resources. The teachers knowledge of the cultural backgrounds, language proficiency levels, and special needs shaped how the teacher worked with them. Seven of the students were from Mexico and 3 of the students are from the United States. One other student is from El Salvador. The teacher did have the groups set up to where it was appropriate for the students to interact with one another and have them paired with other cultures.
