B. Needs Assessment: Demographics Sentinel City is a large metropolitan city that consist of 663,862 people with four neighborhoods. Each of the four neighborhoods are very different from one another but are all within the city limits. The population of people consist of many different races, age groups, and household incomes. There are more men than women in sentinel city with 49.9 percent of the population being women. Most of the sentinel population is white at 80.6% and only 1.4% black or African American. The other minorities in Sentinel city consists of 2% of American Indian, 3.7% Asian, Native Hawaiian 0.2%, and 31.5% of Hispanic or Latino. The medium household income for the city is 49,091.
