Task 1 C228 Community Health and Population Focused Nursing Sentinel City Community Health Simulation Western Governors University (B) Needs Assessment Sentinel City is a fictional city invented for the use of teaching nurses how to physically observe their communities and gain a community health diagnosis. Four tools of varying evaluation capabilities were used to complete this diagnosis, a demographics assessment, neighborhood/community safety inventory, windshield survey and a population health scavenger hunt.
