A- The American Revolution started after the British government and their Victory of the Seven Year war. One of the biggest factors for the colonists was their lack of representation in Parliament and how they put it taxation without representation. The colonies request for representation was rejected declaring itself as the supreme power with lawmaking body and continued to tax the colonies without representation. The Seven Year War was a financial hardship for the country. Parliament went after the American colonies for the debt incurred, believing they were not paying their fair share which lead to new taxes on the Colonies.
