This paper will evaluate alternatives organizations must consider to realize growth and success. Organizations should compare possible alternatives and choose the best strategy that will coincide with the organizations mission and goals. Strategic management is defined as the set of decisions and actions that result in the formulation and implementation of plans designed to achieve a company's objectives (Pierce-Robinson, 2009). There are several strategies that are considered in this paper which include: concentrated growth, differentiation, product development, risk management and market development.
