How One Implements the Seven Tasks in a Human Service Intervention

If you have experience in a human service agency, you can use an episode from your own work for this assignment. If you have no previous experience, you can do this assignment with a little imagination by using one of the interviews with a human service worker in the text.

Reproduce the chart on Interventions and Activities found in the text (below). Then you should choose an intervention. For example, in the interview in Chapter 9 on the bully project, you might decide on appropriate next steps. The observations the worker makes and the questions he or she asks is a form of data collection in which she or he will assess the attitudes and actions of students toward bullying, etc.
