Introduction

Although fossil fuels are the main energy source used by humans, there are other alternatives available to humans. One form of alternative energy is wind energy. There are many different views on wind power. Some people are for wind power claiming it is an excellent renewable source of energy while others claim it is too costly to implement. As stated in our text, "Wind power development has been accelerating in recent years in such countries as Germany, Spain, the United States, and China" (Bensel, Turk, 2011, p 8.1).
