The two mammals that I chose to research are horses and hares. A few of the similar characteristics that horses and hares share are that they both walk on all four of their legs, they only eat vegetation, and they are covered with hair or fur. A few of the differences between horses and hares are that the horses are a very large creature starting from birth where as the hare is a small creature at birth and does not get to a very large size. Another difference is that a horse walks on its hooves where as a hare walks on a paw and also has claws.
