Capstone Checkpoint: Reflections on Nutrition

As I reflect on what I have learned about science nutrition, using the assignments that I have completed up to this point as a reference I would say that now I understand how the body transforms everything from cheeseburgers to vegetables into energy that we can use and need to operate daily functions of the body. I have also learned how changes such as aging, illnesses, and exercise can affect the body's digestion process and growth process. The chapter in the textbook has introduced me to the latest research and the benefits and possible dangers of antioxidants.
