I have chosen Panerspermia to research. In this theory, Svente Arrhenius believed that life originated not on earth, but from another part of the universe. He believed that a meteor that struck the earth had cells within it. Svente believed the cells could have survived the thousands of years it would have taken the meteor to hit the earth, not to mention, the impact of the meteor hitting the earth. He also believed that the meteor would have been like a protective barrier from the radiation in outer space; allowing the cells to survive.
