Hypothesis: How does a retail sales associate react to the same customer under two different appearances?

Abstract: The confederate will enter eight different retail stores in the local shopping mall to test the initial reaction time, length of conversation, general body language of sales associate, general helpfulness of associate, and????..

The confederate will visit each store twice within a 24 hour time period. The first time, the confederate will be not have bathed, be unshaven, wearing dirty and older clothes. The second time, the confederate will be bathed, shaven, and wearing a professional suit. Both times the confederate will be polite and presenting a positive behavior.
