 Define Population:

The research includes a number of Populations resulting in multiple samples. The United States citizens are a selected population as they are major consumers of oil and gas commodities. The levels of gasoline consumption in which these citizens use may be seen in direct correlation with the increase in market prices. Citizens gas consumption levels are a direct reflection of fluctuating supply and demand functions.
