Christianity's pluralism comes from the multiple denominations and interpretations of Christian scripture. All denominations believe in the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ but the way they practice Christianity and the way they worship are varied. In Catholicism the traditional belief of the Trinity is accepted (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), Jesus is seen as being divine, and Bible is the authoritative word of God. (Molloy, 2010).
