Molly (2009) states that Hinduism involves the united worship of many gods with the belief of a single reality that is divine. The term Hinduism can be misleading because Hinduism refers to a great number of different religious systems with an even greater number of deities and practices.
Some of the spiritual and devotional aspects of Hinduism include worshiping at idols or altars, sacred ceremonies, ritualistic prayers, chanting, sacrifices of drink and food, and practicing positive karma. There are also sacred texts important to Hinduism. These are Rig Veda (hymn knowledge), Yajur Veda (ceremonial knowledge), Sama Veda (chant knowledge), and Atharva Veda (the teacher's knowledge).
