I live near the border of new mexico, texas and mexico in a small community called mesquite. While this area is rich with agriculture it is fairly deprived of culture diversity. This does not mean that there is not a mixed culture in this area; it is just that most have lived here their entire lives and the mexican heritage and culture is more present than others. The human interactions here have been racialized by just that, mostly hispanics live here so the area is that of a hispanic race.
