Phantom Limb Syndrome- Man involved in an accident and lost his arm but can still feel everything in his missing arm. Senses of an organ comes from the brain. While shaving, the man could feel his absent hand tingle. In the brain the face representative is right next to hand representative. His sensory input of the face has taken over the sensory of his left arm. The mirror box. When one feels pain in their missing limb, but cannot send feedback to the brain that the limb does not exist. The patient can then put their limbs in a box separated by a mirror sending the brain pictures of their missing limb releasing the pain and changing movement.
