The three basic elements of motivation are intensity, persistence, and direction (Youssef & Noon, 2012.) When I get hired on at a job for the first month or so I feel great. In every job there is stress it is a given. Motivation in the workplace is pay raises. Pay raises sometimes are based on performances than other times it's based on the whole store.
