A person that wants to become a therapist to foster children must have a heart for the broken. They have to be patience because these kids have trust issues and does not want to attach to anyone due to the fear of them leaving. Another quality that a person would need to be a therapist to foster children is an understanding and open mind, every case is different and they have to be able to help these children.
