3.Do you agree with Freud's statement that "depression is anger turned inward"? Why or why not?

I would have to agree with Freud's comment. Usually we become depressed because of our inner feelings and thoughts about a situation. Some people may look at their bodies and feel they do not look good enough, so instead of the person dieting and exercising the person will become depressed and may start eating more food. Each time the person punishes his/herselfbecause they are not happy with what they see or who they are. I believe we all have been in a situation where we did not feel secure about something. Job, relationship, family, or education. But what is most important is how we handle situations, so we don't in turn punish ourselves for some things in many cases we may not have...
