Have you ever asked yourself who am I? No topic in Psychology today is more heavily researched than self (Myers, D.G., 2012). There are many reasons you develop certain attitudes and feelings. These can be caused by genetics, social influence and group dynamics. There are also reasons why you develop certain relationships and many factors influence those relationships.

Self-concept:

I am opinionated. Since I was a young child I was told by my parents that I have never been slow to give my opinion on just about anything. As I have grown older I am still quick to give my opinion but usually only when asked to do so.
