Relationship Strategies

My only real relationship is with my best friend of over 20 years. It is seriously the only relationship I have been able to maintain, and I totally owe that success to her ability to "stay". Diane possesses some attributes I lack in the relationship area, she is way more forgiving than I, she is able to wait out the situation when I am upset or hurt, and she never considers ending the relationship. I, on the other hand have a bit of a problem with communication, plus I close up and try to hide when I am hurt or upset with her. So, since our biggest problems stem from me it is my responsibility to try and correct the problems with our relationship.
