Dispositional optimism and health behavior in community dwelling older people: Associations with healthy ageing.

In supporting the pre existing principle that having a healthy lifestyle and positive outlook (optimism) are related with prolonged existence, a study was done by the University College of London, UK that was going to generate the accuracy of the idea that realistic optimism is associated with aging. There were samples from 128 men and women aging from 65 to 80, it was going to measure the influence of realistic optimism and the fact that it played a major part in the outcome of physiological health.
