The causes of stresses that Jennifer has are many, some of which are a long commute back and forth to work, the horrible tragedy of losing a pregnancy, the hounding of her in-laws to try to have a child again, her father's ill health situation and possibly having to go against his wishes, and being a type A personality at work. Stress is affecting her health from headaches, backaches, and indigestion. She is also very tired and probably not getting enough sleep. The stress she is under is continuous so I think she is in the exhaustion stage of the GAS and as a result has lowered her immunity to many illnesses. Continuous stress causes us to tense the muscles in the neck, shoulders, and forehead therefore leading to tension headaches quite frequently....
