Do you think the criminal justice system works in the United States? Why or why not?

I do believe that the criminal justice system works in the United States because without it; it would be ciaos. In today society there are the good and the bad, and even though not all people follow the rules it does not stop us as a nation to help protect the citizens that are not breaking the law. The criminal justice system does have its flaws but still even with those flaws I feel that it is a very good system that just needs to be looked at a little bit more.
