Nursing Theory Nursing theory, or the organized way in which nurses approach situations throughout their nursing careers, is a vast subject that is studied from the first time the student starts their nursing classes. Nursing theories have helped both students and nurses evolve, not only in practice but also in learning. We come across many different types of nursing theories, and they cover a multitude of subjects.
