Use short answers to explain the difference between:

Synchronous and asynchronous - The difference between synchronous and asynchronous is that synchronous communication happens in real time (instant messaging), whereas asynchronous communication occurs with a delay. University of Phoenix newsgroups are a prime example of asynchronous communication.

Analog and digital - analog is a signal that uses variable voltage to create continuous waves, resulting in an inexact transmission. As opposed to analog signals, digital signals are composed of signals that can have a value of only 1 or 0.
