The setting is based with the population being critically ill and in ICUs which most are unable to reposition themselves. The issue is that there is either not enough nursing staff to reposition the patients every 2 hours as recommended. In order to prevent pressure ulcers, patients need to be repositioned quite frequently to help in aid to prevent pressure ulcers. Possible educational deficit could be related to that no in services are being performed in order to re-educate the importance and necessity of repositioning.
