1 Primary Intervention: Tuberculosis (TB) and AIDS are among the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in Haiti (WHO, 2015). Population displacement results in spontaneous, overcrowded resettlement areas, raising the risk of transmission of certain communicable diseases, such as vaccines preventable diseases, in particular measles and diphtheria, but also meningitis, HIV, TB, and acute respiratory infections (WHO, 2015).
