Health and Healing Models of health and healing are ways of thinking, thoughts or solutions to health problems (Koerner, 2011). There are multiple models of health and healing. Models include physical body, body-mind, body-mind-spirit/bio-psycho-social, Eastern model, and Western model. This paper will discuss the Western model and Eastern model. Professional presence, influence of nursing practice, potential challenges to personality differences and my personal goals will be discussed in this paper.
