What are some of the negative impacts of the U.S. recession on for-profit and non-profit business?

For-profit organization was loss of revenue, downsizing, less demand for products, which in turn made some things cheaper, less productivity, banks were not loaningand consumer were not spending because they were afraid of the economic situation(in capitalism you need people to spend). For non-profit organization meant cuts from government, corporations, cuts in donation from private donors, which also affected the type of work and people they could help and it also meant that they had to lay or fire a lot of people because of lack of funding. In my view the worst is still to come in the USA considering the large amount of debt wehaveand till now we haven't done anything to...
