Provide an example of a project milestone in a project schedule.

An example of a project milestone when undertaking a remodeling or construction project is inspections. Most all cities and counties have code requirements and projects must be inspected and approved. Each inspection and approval is a milestone. Example, when constructing a building, each phase is a milestone; ground or prep work, laying the foundation, constructing, electrical, plumbing, etc. Each phase is inspected and approved, and the project cannot commence until each phase has been completed.
