In this assignment, I will be talking about Arithmetic and Geometric sequence. I will try my best to give an example on how to solve each sequences and I will give a definition for both sequence.
"An arithmetic sequence is a sequence of numbers in which each succeeding term differs from the preceding term by the same amount; this amount is known as the common difference (Bluman,2011)."
Here's an example of arithmetic sequence: 2, 7, 12, 14, 22, 27, ? / common difference of 5.
"A geometric sequence is a sequence of terms in which each term after the first term is obtained by multiplying the preceding term by a nonzero number. This number is called the common ratio (Bluman,2011)."
