Does long-term foster care help or hurt children? This study is part of a program at the Center for Research held in Wales and England. The first part showed the planning process: recruitment, assessment, preparation of long-term foster parents, supervision, and training of these foster parents. It further explored policy and practice models through telephone and face-to-face interviews with key professionals, including managers and social workers.
