   a. Explanation Nurse burnout is a growing issue for nurses all across the US. The chosen area of practice, hospice, is a field where nurse burnout is especially seen. Hospice nurses are expected to provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients who are in the last 6 months of their life. In addition to this, hospice nurses must know how to graciously communicate with the family of the patient, and effectively collaborate with other health care workers who are involved in the patients treatment.
