Resistance to change manifests itself in many forms. Resistance is a challenge for any leader to manage. Many employees resist without even realizing it. But not matter how resistant to change manifests itself it can threaten or destroy your business venture

Spotting resistance to change is simple listen to your employees see what they are saying about the changes. Some will openly challenge your authority during the change. Resistance is more severe when you dont have employee support. You need to justify the change so employees will see that it is in their best interest.

When changes are introduced it is necessary to minimize resistance in order for the change to be a success this can be achieved by open discussions, keeping employees in the loop. Resistance can also be greatly minimized when employees feel that there is a need for the change.
