My current instructional setting is a third-grade class in Lakewood, Washington. Lakewood is set in a city like community with a low to mid-levels of pay. My class comprises of twenty-four students that range from low to high levels academically. Every student is seated in groups of four for better collaboration. There are two tables set in the back of the class where students may turn in assignments, sharpen pencils, and use tissues if needed. I also have a corner full of soft foam chairs for reading time.
