Learner and Context Analysis Instructional Setting and Content Area The targeted learners are second graders, ages 8-9 in the math setting. There are 21 students in the class, but the needs analysis focuses on 17 of those who are labeled as one grade level below in number and operations. The math curriculum used is called i-Ready which provides students with math instruction books that is completed as a whole group and problem-solving practice that they do independently.
