IYT2, Introduction to Curriculum Theory, Task 1 Western Governors University

Introduction I currently teach sixth grade science in the middle school setting. The total number of students I teach is 110, over five class periods. I average between nineteen and thirty students per class. There is a total of fifty-seven males and fifty-three females. My classroom services two ELL students and twenty SPED students over the course of the day. Although there are support staff in the school, they do not directly support my science classroom throughout the day. My school is 98% free or reduced lunch.
