IYT2, Intro to Curriculum Theory, Task Two IYT2 Intro to Curriculum Theory, Task Two I teach general education for first grade. I work at an elementary campus that has anywhere between 800 to 900 students registered each year. My campus resides in an area where there are several colonias. In Spanish a colonia means neighborhood. These colonias are comprised of substandard housing that lack basic services such as electricity, plumbing, or paved roads. Most of the people that reside in the area are also recent immigrants. There isnt much diversity with 99% of the campus population being Hispanic and 1% white.
