It is very important to make sure that a WLAN is secured, because it will allos only the users that are authorized to use it. I found that the best way to secure a WLAN is an encryption known as WA2. This is the most recommended form of encryption for wireless networks. This form of encyption is a lot more secured then other encyptions and is much harder to hack. Since the use of passwords are used in this encryption process it will be a lot harder to hack the WLAN.

Another way to secure a WLAN is using MAC address filtering. "This is a unique identifier that is encoded in every device to allow or deny access based on whether or the devices MAC address is in the list that will allow access to that device."(Stallings, W. (2013)....
